Registration requirements

  • All dogs over the age of three months are required to be registered.
  • This excludes dogs used for services (e.g. guide dogs, Police etc).
  • All cats over the age of six months are required to be registered.
  • If you suspect that a dog or cat is not registered, please raise a request below.

Location of unregistered animal

  • The City will only be able to investigate if you know the address of the unregistered animal.
  • If the animal is currently wandering, please contact the City on 1300 4 CANNING (1300 422 664).

  • To advise the City of a possible unregistered animal, please click on the report button below.
  • An Officer will take action within the next 48 hours.
